After eight years of research, member Jim Merrington has finally published a book about his Delage vintage car  - the blue one you may have seen at Newby Hall. 

The book reveals the life of Louis Janoir,  a French aviator and car maker, who made Jim’s “Transformable Metallique” on a Delage platform in 1926.  There are now only three such cars, with the unique JANOIR aluminium body, known in the world.  With photos of cars, engines, aeroplanes, motorbikes, as well as a love story, there could be something for everyone, as well as petrol heads!
